Okay. It’s reviews like this that make me CRY, and then think that maybe I could actually write forever. This has made my day/week/month/year/life. For real. I was feeling discouraged, and the timing of this couldn’t have been better, and I’m pretty sure my life has been changed. (Also, this reviewer hardly EVER gives a 10/10—I got a 9.5 for The Very Real World of Emily Adams!)
Thank you, Melina!!! ♥️♥️♥️

What Actually Happened To Issac Moore by Samantha J. Rose is a fantasy novel that captivated me from beginning to end. The characters are truly out of this world, with a lovable cast that includes even a worm, and the storyline is both unique and adventurous, making it perfect for any reader. The worldbuilding is also done beautifully, with such attention to detail that it’s hard not to wish you were right there with them on their journey.
One of the best things about the book is Issac himself. He’s a character who is both someone you’d want to be in real life and someone you’d love to be friends with. The way he handles the situation he finds himself in is nothing short of incredible, and it’s easy to get swept up in his story. While we often talk about being transported to fictional worlds, if something like this were to happen in reality, I don’t know if I’d have the strength to survive.
Despite being over 300 pages long, the book is a fast-paced read that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. You’re constantly on the edge of your seat, eager to learn more about Issac and how he hets out of his predicament. There’s a perfect balance of emotion and adventure, with bonds forming between the characters that will leave you both heartbroken and exhilarated.
As a fan of Samantha J. Rose’s first book, The Very Real World of Emily Adams, I had high expectations for What Actually Happened To Issac Moore. Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint.
